What is kitchen equipment?

Kitchen equipments are the cooking tools which helps in make cooking effectively quick. Various type of kitchen equipment is used in kitchen. The type amount and its size of the equipment will differ depending on the types of menu being provided and number of people being dined.

The is a few equipment that used in kitchen. For the range top usually we have deep fryers, grills and open burners. For processing equipment there is hand mixer, heavy duty mixer and slicer. But the equipment can be dangerous if we can't handle it or don't know how to use it. Therefore it is important for food handler to get familiar with the new equipment and its functions.

Kitchen Planning And Layout.

Hey guys,
Today chef Naim teach us about kitchen planning and layout.Kitchen layout is the shape that is made by arrangement of the counter top major appliances and storage areas. The floor plan created the kitchens work triangle. Kitchen triangle is a concept used to determine efficient kitchen layouts.

This is a types of kitchen layout.

     1. L shape kitchen

Kitchen layout need to be planned to make our work easy. We need a big space and all the equipment in kitchen must be in the suitable position. But for a big kitchen that will generate profit, they must have a planning team. The important person should be play a role is the owner, food service consultant, interior design and architect. They have to work together to make sure the kitchen operation is succeed.

Hello guys,How are you today?..Yeah..I feel so happy today because chef naim teach us how to make a marble cake.I really like the texture of this cake because this cake very moist.So today I will share the recipe Marble cake that we already learn.


Butter 500 g
Castor Sugar 380 g
Egg  10 Nos
Milk 100 ml
Cake flour 460 g
Baking Powder   1 tsp
Vanilla Essence   1 tsp
Cocoa Powder   50 g


Method:

1. Preheat Oven to 170 .
2. Combine the cake flour and baking powder in a bowl.Shift and set aside.
3. In mixing bowl,beat butter and castor sugar together until light in color and fluffy,about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the eggs two at the time,mixing until well combined after each.Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to be sure all ingredients are well incorporated.
5. Add Milk and vanilla essence.Mix well.
6. Add dry ingredients and mix until well combined and smooth.Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to be sure all ingredients are well incorporated.Do not over mix the batter.
7. Stir cocoa powder and a bit hot water together in a smaller bowl,then fold about half the cake batter into the cocoa mixture until blended.
8. Put vanilla batter in pans after that chocolate batter.continue the steps until the last batter.
9. Bake a cake for 30 to 40 minutes,or until a toothpick inserted in the thickest part of a cake comes out clean.Remove cake from the oven and allow to coll completely in the pans set on a wire rack.





This easy Marble cake recipe is wonderfully moist and made swirl of vanilla and chocolate cake.This is just simple recipe but if you not do a right method.You will not get the best cake texture.So before u start make this cake.Make sure you read this recipe carefully.That’s all from me..

Tiramisu Cake

Hey guys,welcome back to my blog.Today Chef Naim teach us how to make a Tiramisu cake.This easy tiramisu cake is made of a chocolate sponge cake soaked with coffee syrup,topped with cream cheese and dusted with cocoa powder.Just like classic tiramisu in cake form. It was fun!.So In my entry today.I will give you a recipe tiramisu cake that we already learn today.


Ingredients:

A:
Egg yolk   4  nos
Fresh milk 100  ml
Castor Sugar 120  gm


B:
Gelatin   1  Tbsp
Water   60  ml

C:
Cream Cheese 500  gm

D:
Whipped Cream(Dairy cream) 250 gm


E:
Coffee Paste 1/5  Tsb
Coffee Syrup


Method:

1) In mixing bowl,put cream cheese.Mix cream cheese until very smooth.

2) In another bowl,put gelatin and water.Use double boiler method to malted the gelatin.After that,put in the gelatin in the cream cheese better.Mix well.
3) In other bowl,put sugar,egg yolk, and milk use double boiler method to melted the ingredients after that put   again in the better and mix again.
4) Lastly beat the whipped cream and combine with the cheese cream better and mix well.
5) Using a pastry brush,Brush some coffee syrup at the cake layer and put the cream cheese filling.
6) Repeat,then top with the last layer of sponge cake and soak with coffee syrup.
7) Put the cake in chiller before you decorate your cake.
8) Lastly,Frost whit whipped cream frosting,and you can decorate your cake by your own creativity idea.

Black Forest (week 3)

Hello guys,

Welcome back to my blog,This week Chef Naim teach us how to make Black Forest.As a Cake lover of cause I feel very happy and excited .Today i will share with you Black forest recipe.For the cake you can use chocolate sponge cake.For the recipe you can check my recipe that i already share at my last week entry.So for the black forest it is very easy to make the cake.even it's easy this cake very expensive at bakery.So why not after this you just make this cake by own yourself at your home.This can we just need a few ingredients.


  • Whipped cream(Non Dairy cream)
  • Cherry
  • Cherry syrup
  • White chocolate and Dark chocolate Shaving(For decoration)
Method:

  1. Cut the cake for a few layer.
  2. Use a stand mixer with a whisk attachment,beat a whipped cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. spread the layer of cake with cherry syrup use  brush.After that ,pipe the whipped cream and put some cherry.
  4. Add second layer of cake,then repeat the step until last layer of cake.
  5. Frost the top and outside the cake with the whipped cream.Set the cake in the chiller before you decorate your cake.

This cake is pretty,sweet and easy .I already know how to make a Black Forest cake.This is the best and easy cake .That i already learn.So after this i will make this cake at home.

Classical pastry & dessert around the world.


Hello guys,
Do you know about classical pastry & dessert? Sweet,bakery,donuts,pudding or what ever you call them and doesn’t matter where they come from, we all love and crave them. dessert is typically the sweet course that concludes a meal in the culture of many countries. While pastries a part of a baker’s offerings, surprisingly enough they don’t necessarily have to be sweet. In fact, pastry & dessert come in a variety of flavors and textures .In this entries I will write list Classical pastry & dessert around the world.

1. France:Crème Brûlée

Crème Brûlée is a favorite dessert all over France.It Contains rich,creamy custard topped with layer of hard,crunchy caramel that is just slightly browned.

2. America:Apple Pie

It doesn’t get any more American than apple pie.The pie consisting of apple pieces wrapped in a flaky crust.It’s can beserved with whipped cream,vanilla ice cream,or cheddar cheese.

3. Turkey: Baklava

One of Turkey's specialties, baklava,consists of phyllo dough layered between a mixture of chopped nuts. The squares are held together by syrup or honey.

4. Italy: Gelato

Tarta de Santiago is Spanish for cake of Saint James. The almond cake has a rich history: It originated in the Middle Ages in Galicia, a region in the northwest of Spain.

8. Japan: Mochi

Japanese mochi gets its name from mochigome, a glutinous rice that is pounded into a paste and molded into a circular shape. Mochi is available year-round, but it is most often eaten and sold at Japanese New Year. It is often wrapped around a small scoop of ice cream.

Commonly eaten on Argentine independence day, pastelitos are flaky puff pastries filled with sweet quince or sweet potato, then deep fried and finished with a dusting of sprinkles



10. England: Banoffee Pie

England is home to banoffee pie, a delicious pie made with bananas, cream, toffee, and sometimes chocolate or coffee.


11. Brazil: Brigadeiros

Brigadeiros are eaten at any major Brazilian celebration. Similar to a truffle, the dessert is made with powdered chocolate, condensed milk, and butter. It can either be eaten as a cooked mixture or be molded into little individual balls covered in sprinkles


12. China: Dragon Beard Candy

Dragon beard candy is not only a Chinese dessert, but also a handmade traditional art of the country. Resembling a white cocoon, dragon beard candy is made mainly from sugar and maltose syrup, along with peanuts, sesame seeds, and coconut.

13. Belgium: Belgian waffle

As the name suggests, Belgian waffles come from Belgium and are a common street snack throughout the country. The buttery treats are best when eaten warm and topped with powdered sugar or Nutella.

14. India: Gulab Jamun

Gulab jamun is one of India's most beloved desserts, though it is also eaten throughout Southeast Asia. Best described as donut holes dipped in a sugary syrup, gulab jamun is made with milk powder and traditionally fried in ghee a type of butter and not oil.
15. Austria: Sachertorte

If Austria is known for one kind of dessert, it's the Sachertorte, a dense but not overly sweet chocolate cake invented in 1832 by Austrian Franz Sacher.

16. Australia: Lamingtons

Lamingtons are Australian dessert squares that consist of yellow sponge cake coated in chocolate and then topped with coconut flakes.
17. Germany: Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte

21. Sweden: Prinsesstårta

Princess cake or prinsesstårta in Swedishis a layer cake from Sweden that is covered in a hard topping of marzipan, which is usually green, giving the cake a unique look. Beneath the marzipan are alternating layers of sponge cake, pastry cream, and whipped cream.

Om ali is the Egyptian version of American bread pudding. It is made with puff pastry, milk, sugar, vanilla, raisins, coconut flakes, and a variety of nuts.

After I make this entries and make some reach about classical pastry & dessert around the world.It’s help me to expand my knowledge about classical pastry & dessert.Apparently,there are many pastry & dessert around the world and have their own  uniqueness.
