In my entry today I will this you a recipe cucur bawang and sos cucur that we have learn form chef naim.It easy.I still remember when I was small,my mom used to make lots of cucurs for our breakfast.I never fancied them all that much,maybe because it always available!Be it onion fritters,anchovies,or the medley of any vegetable she could find.This is easy to make yet goes very well for anytime snack.So this the recipe.
Ingredients for cucur bawang:
l Plain flour 500 g
l Dry yeast 1½ tbsp
l Egg 1 Nos
l Baking Powder 3/4 tbsp
l Salt 1 tsp
l Onion 1 Nos
l Warm water 600 g
Method:
1. In bowl,Mix all the ingredients together until well combined,add water and form thick
pancake batter.
2. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
3. Heat the oil.Spoon some batter into the hot oil and fry until golden.
Sos cucur:
l Cili boh 1 Packet
l Water 1 liter
l Gula melaka
l Salt 26 gm
l Garlic 50 g
l Onion 100 g
Method:
1. Place the some water,garlic and onion in blander and blend until smooth.
2. Cook all the ingredients in the pot.and let the sos a bit sticky.
3. Ready to use.
