Crust:
- Butter (Cold & Diced) 200 g
- Cake Flour 400 g
- Egg 2 Nos
- Salt 1/2 Tsp
- Milk 2 tbsp
Method:
- Preheat oven 160℃
- In bowl,Put butter ,salt and cake flour.Using a finger tips until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Add egg,work it until the dough come together.
- add milk and work it again until the dough combined together and ready to use.
- Roll the dough and put at the pie mole.Use fork to poke holes at the base of pie cases.Then, cover with parchment paper and use dried beans as pie weights.
- bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
Filling:
- Minced chicken 400 g
- Onion(Chopped) 1 Nos
- Dried Thyme 1 tsp
- Salt 2 tsp
- Oil 2 Tbsp
Method:
- heat the oil in a frying pan,add Onion.stirring frequently until tender.
- Add chicken stir using wood spoon until the chicken cook.
- Lastly add salt and Dried thyme.
- Put into Pie shell
Custard:
- Milk 130 g
- Heavy cream 130 ml
- Egg 2 Nos
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients together.
- Pour at the pie shell
You also can put any vegetable that you like,such a carrot,celery,mushroom or so on. I will make this quiche again at home for my family and will definitely make again.
